The purpose of the article is to ground a necessity of new branch of science — Interpretative Stylistics. Its basis must consist of stylistics, semantics, lexicology, the history of language. All these disciplines should be united with the problem of searching word. All difficult cases of usage (including those concerning linguistic flare) should be interpreted in Interpretative Stylistics framework.
