First World War’s Problems in Baku Russian Press

Before the First World War in Baku some names of newspapers in Azerbaijan, Russian and Armenian languages were issued. Those newspapers’ attitudes toward the World War were different since they were based on the national predilections of the publishers. Even the newspapers issuing in Russian were far from Russian interests, they supported point of view of their publishers. The author investigates the attitude of newspapers toward the World War which began in Europe.
