From 1953 Yassen Zassoursky started to work at the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University. In 1955 he became the Head of the Department of Foreign Journalism and Literature. Professor Zassoursky was the Dean of the Faculty of Journalism from 1965 till 2007. He published numerous books and articles on theory and history of journalism and communication, including 17 textbooks and 16 monographs. In 2018 Yassen Zassoursky was awarded the title of Honored Journalist of Russia for significant contribution to the journalism in Russia.

From 1953 Yassen Zassoursky started to work at the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University. In 1955 he became the Head of the Department of Foreign Journalism and Literature. Professor Zassoursky was the Dean of the Faculty of Journalism from 1965 till 2007. He published numerous books and articles on theory and history of journalism and communication, including 17 textbooks and 16 monographs. In 2018 Yassen Zassoursky was awarded the title of Honored Journalist of Russia for significant contribution to the journalism in Russia.
