The Archaic Fairy Tale Motives and Neoplatonic Myth in «The Golden Pot» of E.T.A. Hoffmann

The article considers the structural characteristics of Romantic short story by E.T.A. Hoffmann «The Golden Pot», directly dating back to the models of archaic fairy tales and Neoplatonism. Archetypal base of the plot and platonic paradigm are combined in syncretic unity, which provides universality and polysemy of the narration.
