Terminological Thesaurus: Conceptual Notional Skeleton of Science

Preparing their publications the experts on journalism theory from different countries use the growing number of terms and notions from different sciences. Quite often they do not give complete interpretations of these terms and do not point their place in the system of science. We suggest that the time for term apparatus analysis and for the defining of the notions comes. And it is extremely important to move towards the elaboration of revised system of the terminological apparatus in journalism theory, especially if we take into consideration the shift to new educational standards. This article is an attempt to solve some terminological problems basing the existing interpretation of journalism as the “system of mass media”.
