Theme of Science on Crimean News Portals under the Change of State

The paper provides the results of content analysis of scientific materials published on two leading Crimean news portals in 2013 and 2015. The data obtained in the course of the study cast light on the specifics of coverage of scientific and technical development by the most sought-after electronic media of the region and give an idea of condition, challenges and development trends of Crimean science before and after the peninsula became part of the Russian Federation. The recommendations formulated in the paper can be used to optimize the process of science presentation in Crimean online media and promote the public dialogue on the innovative development of the region these media initiate.
