    «Music in the Cloud in Russia: the Problematics of Value»

    The article presents early insights from an ongoing study of music cultures among young audiences in Moscow and Stockholm. The cross-cultural study focuses on the impact of the Internet on music use and meanings of music in everyday life. The study reveals that the music-related activities in Russia are majorly concentrated on the social networking website VKontakte. Practices related to this and other plat­forms form complex folksonomies of online and offline listening and communication, intertwined with experiences of live music.

    The article dwells on the present role of Internet communications in the develop­ment of Russia’s civil society and social infrastructure. In particular, it looks into the use of civil applications which have been getting increasingly popular over the recent years. The author touches upon the factors preconditioning the active employment of civil applications and points out at the criteria for their systematization. Further on, the author provides an overview of the new types of media communications and con­templates the prospects and potential problems connected with their development and their use in the field of professional journalism.

    The article dwells on the present role of Internet communications in the develop­ment of Russia’s civil society and social infrastructure.   • «Viral Communication as an Instrument of Influencing Consumer Behavior. Experiment»

    The article presents the results of an empirical study of the main factors and conditions that contribute to improving the efficiency of viral communication. Viral communication is a type of communication, when the propagation of emotionally charged messages through the channels of interpersonal internet communication is exponential. Understanding the mechanisms of psychoemotional contagion, under­lying the processes of natural spread of messages in the global web, and its impact on consumer behavior can significantly improve the efficiency of viral campaigns in the Internet.

    «The Ukrainian Russophile French-Language Press of France (1919—1921 yrs)»

    The paper deals with the study of formation and functioning of the Ukrainian Russophile French-language press of France in 1919—1921 yrs. In the research ideological trend, editorial policy and content of the periodicals of Comite de Сarpatho-Russes a Paris («Les Russes des Carpathes» (Paris, 1919) and Comite National Ukrainien a Paris («Bulletin du Comite National Ukrainien a Paris» (1920), «La Jeune Ukraine» (Paris, 1920—1921) have been examined. The conclu­sions have been drawn and the perspectives of the research have been formulated.

    This article devoted to comparative studies two novels:«Die Elixiere des Teufels» by E.T.A. Hoffmann and «Der Steppenwolf» by H. Hesse. There is a set of a typo­logical convergence between them at the level of a plot, poetics and in using of archetypes. This investigation demonstrated many interesting examples of relation­ship of romanticism and modernism.

  • «Verbal and Lexical Content of the Headlines in the Reputable Spanish Online Newspapers in the Context of the Socio-Political Reality»

    The interconnection between the crisis and the Spanish digital mass media language is expressed in the active usage of the euphemisms, neologisms and figurative collocations; the quantitative predominance of the formal predicates; the clear stylistic distinction in the titles-forming between the news and the publicistic style; the prevalence of the Historical Present; some deviations from the traditional grammatical and lexical norms — such as invective language and time discordance.
