Phenomenon of Social and Political Talk Shows Popularity on Russian TV (Autumn 2014 – Spring 2015)

The article analyzes a socio-political talk show in difficult for Russian’s foreign policy conditions of the autumn of 2014 and spring of 2015. The number of political talk show increased that time. The analysis of rating indicators of socio-political talk show reveals sustained interest of the audience for such projects, mainly covering the crisis in Ukraine. The article also examines the specific features of subjects of these programs.
